Shadow Creek Pumpkin Trail Run 5K/5M/1M

October 14, 2017 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm CDT

$18 – $64.85

October 14, 2017 at 8 a.m. join us for an awesome trail run through the Shadow Creek Pumpkin Farm! There will be a 5K & 5M Trail Run and 1M Fun Run/Walk.

Shadow Creek Pumpkin Farm is the Perfect venue for the Pumpkin Trail Run! Shadow Creek Pumpkin Farm is a one-of-a-kind, Texas proud, authentic farm, fall, family experience.

Nestled in the heart of over 200 acres of Ellis County farmland, the farm is located in Midlothian, Texas. Once you arrive at the address, you’ll drive a mile down our personal gravel road to reach the parking pasture. Surrounded by the sights of the farm, you’ll park and make your way to the 10 acres of tree cover that shades our creek as well as our park area. You’ll pass a converted grain silo where you can buy adventure tokens to jump on a hayride or go through the corn maze. As you walk down the gravel path towards the Shadow Creek, you’ll pass vintage farm equipment and tree swings. Walk over the creek bridge and find yourself in the middle of fall colors, items and smells. Those shade tree’s trunks will be surrounded by pumpkins of every shape and size, and hay bales offer seating when you can’t find a swing, table or log bench to rest on.
Buy a gourd to take home at the Pumpkin Shack or purchase a piece of Shadow Creek from the Market. Enjoy Cick-fil-A sandwiches and drinks at the Chuckwagon Cafe area, or treat your sweet tooth to gourmet desserts at Shadow Creek Sweets. Smell the scent of sugar as fresh kettle corn is being popped and grab a fresh bag from the Kettle Company. Free attractions include the hay hill slide, tractor pedal carts, pumpkin tic-tac-toe, lawn sized dominoes, life sized jenga or toss some horse shoes. Roam and explore the acres of farmland right at your fingertips. Take an adventure through our 2-acre corn maze…wander and get lost in the memories in the middle of a corn field. If you purchase adventure tokens for the hayride, you’ll see the other side of our property from the back of a hay wagon. The trail goes through another 10 acre plot, where you’ll get to meet and greet our cattle. Enjoy riding up the valley and hearing the sounds of the farm. Every weekend there will be live music after 5 p.m. and each evening, there will be a campfire built at dark along the corner of the creek. Sit back and soak up the country air and family-friendly atmosphere while you spend the evening with us.
Not only is it a beautiful place to enjoy, every Chick-fil-A sandwich sold at Shadow Creek during the fall season has 100% of the profits donated to local non-profits, school and religious groups or charitable groups. Each weekend there’s something different and special in store, so be sure to keep up with our calendar at or follow us on Facebook. You can buy a pumpkin for your porch at a local, crowded supermarket. Or you can come visit Shadow Creek Pumpkin Farm…where fall family traditions begin!

This is family friendly event, with so much to see and do, so bring the kids and come on out! Free Parking and Chip Timing!
